Ilorin Emirate: Lai Mohammed Reacts To Criticism Trailing Comments, Slams Saraki

Image
Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, has reacted to the condemnation trailing his comment on the outcome of the 17 Nov. 2018 by-election in the Ekiti/Irepodun/Isin/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency of Kwara State. A statement he signed on Wednesday said while it was true that he mentioned the Berlin Wall in his speech at the victory rally in his country home in Oro on Sunday, 18 Nov. 2018, it was “undoubtedly in reference to the stranglehold of the Saraki political dynasty on Kwara politics”. He said: “Not once did I mention the Ilorin Emirate during that speech, and I challenge anyone who has any evidence to the contrary to release such. It is instructive that the news item that was referenced by those who made the allegation never mentioned Ilorin Emirate or made any reference to the traditional institution. “It is safe to conclude, therefore, that those who tried to inject the Ilorin Emirate into the whole issue acted out of shameful desperation. “This is not a surprise, considerin...

2019 presidency: Saraki under fire for making ‘false allegation’ against Buhari’s ‘Trader Moni The Buhari/Osinbajo Presidential Campaign Organization has attacked Senate President Bukola Saraki for criticising the Federal Government’s ‘trader moni’ scheme. Saraki, who is the Director General of the Presidential Campaign Council of Atiku Abubakar, had allegedly made false allegations about the President Muhammadu Buhari’s scheme. Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has been seen in markets in different states of the federation giving out small loans to traders. Buhari/Osinbajo Campaign Organization in a statement on Saturday, said, “For the President of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to make such wild and false allegations is degrading. “Saraki’s statement makes his position untenable; for it is preposterous for him to criticise the Executive for implementing a programme in the budget duly passed by the National Assembly which he leads. “Does it now mean that th...

2019: PDP acting under fear of another defeat in Lagos – APC

Image
The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Lagos State has said the fear of a crushing defeat in next year’s governorship election stares the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the face, causing it to raise false alarms and allegations against the ruling party. Spokesman of the APC in Lagos, Joe Igbokwe, stated this in a news release sent to DAILY POST on Saturday in reaction to claims by the PDP that its campaign posters and signage were pulled down by APC agents in the state. Igbokwe, who described the claims as unfounded, reminded the PDP of an incident in 2014 in which mercenaries suspected to be on its payroll destroyed the campaign posters of the APC on Ikorodu road up to Funsho Williams Avenue. While vouching for members of his party, Igbokwe cautioned them against falling into the temptation of repaying the alleged wrong done to the APC four years with a similar coin. The statement reads: “The attention of Lagos APC has been drawn to the claim by PDP Lagos that its campaign ma...

Why You Should Remain A Virgin Till Marriage

Image
Seriously, we humans shouldn't degrade ourselves to the level of lower animals that finds it difficult to control their sexual urges. I'm saying this to express my irritation towards those who keeps saying it is impossible to live a lifestyle of sexual chastity. It is actually possible to completely ignore premarital sex, masturbation, pornography viewing and other illicit sexual activities. Don't let anyone deceive you. Even in this corrupt world of ours, NOT ALL YOUNG PERSONS ARE INDULGING IN SEXUAL IMMORALITIES. Many of us are youngsters with healthy sexual hormones and urges, but we still keep ourselves pure and chaste, preserving our bodies until when we will begin exploring the beautiful gift of God called sex in the safe confines of our God-approved marriage. Let me give you good reasons you should remain a virgin till marriage. 1. It Is God's Will For You To Remain A Virgin Till Marriage: If I was preaching in a church, I will simply kick this off immediat...

Reasons You Need Jesus

Image
Jesus said in book of John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." The world is full of uncertainties, as know one knows his/death invitation. But, my prayer for everyone is, the number of our days in Christ Jesus shall we fulfill in Jesus name. However, as a soldier we need to be prepare, not necessary because of death, but to behold and enjoy the true nature of Love - God. 1)Freedom: Romans 8:1 Yea the blood of Jesus can expose ur real identity, and equip your physical and spiritual life with powers of love, sanctification, and purity. Only if you could come to Him just as you're, without making self-amendments. 2)It's finished! John 19:30 Every of your discomforts of any magnitude, directions, color, or age has long been settled on the cross of Calvary. So why am I still experiencing them? Reason is that you have not taken hold on the cross in exchange for His cross platforms healing. Come to Jesus today! Bel...

It Is Only One Sin That Sends People To Hell Fire

Image
I came across a thread on Nairaland where people debated the case of hellfire. Many wondered why God will send a liar or a pencil thief to the same fiery furnace as a mass murderer like Osama Bin Laden. To them, this is unfair and doesn't show God to be a just God. They say earthly judges don't even do such because they give sentences according to the degree of offence. They say "how come a loving God can't do the same but lumps every sinner with the same punishment?". What do we know as sin? Lying, stealing, formication, adultery, murder etc. But do you know that those sins are not what actually send people to hell fire? If they are what send people to hell fire, then all humanity will end up there. But you say "what about the Christians?". They will end up there as well because they also commit the same sins. Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:10 - As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: ...
